🌺🌸🌹🍒🍓🍅💜 I've never had so high expectations for producer that were so far exceeded. This is a beautiful representation of Barbera. Flowers and Olives, what a combo!

If you know, you know. I put this in the “natty bruiser” category - high alcohol, huge extract, and gobs of Brett and VA. Still totally enjoyable with the right food. La Stoppa’s back vintage Barberas are great deals (this was a touch over $30 when purchased 2 years ago), but for my money I’ll be reaching for their Trebbiolo which dials everything back while still having similar fruit profile and deliciousness.

Overripe strawberry, canned red plums, floral, caramalized sugars. Damn. A touch hot, but does not minimize sweetness + acidity

Ton of Brett in here. Had a smoky thing going on at the back end. Lot of fruit still and acidity to match. Just funky and weird but I liked it. Pretty cool wine.
