Gran Reserva 890 Rioja Tempranillo Blend

Excellent but too young for much additional complexity to be showing. Oak is well integrated and less than I remembered in this bottling.

Beautiful garnet color with still some freshness. Mind blowing nose. If we didn’t catch this wine at it’s apogee I can’t imagine how much better I can get but fuck it was good

Bright and fruity. Dominant American oak. Cherry.

Outstanding as per usual w LRA

Dark and brooding blue fruit with sour cherry and a hint of Esther and Harrogate. Gorgeously intense fruit but soft and approachable. Still young but gorgeously pure and bright.

Beautiful soft cherries on the nose with resolved oak and notes f vanilla and spice. Lovely and broad on the palate with a lovely floral notes.

Lovely red fruits, sous bois and integrated American Oak

Deep, dark fruits, brown spices, heavy, mocha. Felt a little muddied. Fully mature, didn't have the brightness I was looking for from a classic house. Still delicious
