Barolo or Barbaresco this young would be an exercise in palate abuse - but if you blend in some Croatina and Vespolina, the hard edges get a little softer and the whole package gets rounder. Drinks like Piemonte, and drinks well now, especially in this slightly riper than usual vintage. Still better with food.

Smells like a flower shop. Very floral. Violets, cloves, and black cherry on the palate.
Unique and very enjoyable. The blend tames the rough young edges of the nebbiolo, making this very drinkable in its youth.
