La Chablisienne
Côte de Léchet Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay
It’s ok, your $25 ish Chablis when you’re wanting white burg but tired of spending $60 for someting mediocre. You can still spend $25 for something mediocre.

May 3rd, 2020Strikingly pale color....nearly colorless actually. This bottle is all about dat chalk. We’re talking minerals for dayz with zippy, lip-smacking lime citrus. My kind of Chablis and from a co-op of all places. First time trying anything from this vineyard. Hopefully not the last.

Dec 3rd, 2019Can’t go wrong with the 2014. Very light color. Tart lemon, crushed stone and tons of chalk. Nice acidity on the palate, with the fruit lingering on the palate. Fantastic QPR.

May 23rd, 2019Been too long since my last chablis. Would hv loved to sit on this longer but the fish duo I was cooking was begging for it. Better in AP than Zalto burg. Apple, lemon, limey notes, chalky-minerality. It was delicious and went down fast. My patience was tested and I feel like I only won a participation trophy but it was the more accessible of the 2 Chablis I had =) 13%. From KL. $30 ish. 2014 in 12/20.
