Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Soft, mature and solemn, this wine has reached its drinking plateau. Lovely Tajine-like nuances of currants, lambchops, pinenuts, bellpepper, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and mint.

Great wine - complexity, length and still lots of potential. This was the WOTN on our small Sangiovese tasting evening.
