Deep black heart with star bright reflection. Nose of pipe tobacco and black plum are pierced by bitumen, pepper and licorice, black bread toast and grilled meat. On the palate, tart black cherries lead red cherries with dark juice bordering reduction, tobacco is prevalent but moist and sweet; graphite, smoke and charred oak just hinting. 2015 vintage in magnum making a more cohesive statement on day two. Baked fruits and bricking show the years, but unwavering quality and tannin keeping it chewy, luscious and solid rim to rim. Lovely Rosso Veneto to champion all comforts.

Very earthy. It really needs to sit for a while. Not one of the best Carmenère I've had. 90% Carmenère 10% Iseleta.

Great after a filling dinner. Went well with a sweet chocolate cake even though it's a dry wine

2009 - An unexpected marriage between two organic grapes, Carmènere and the indigenous Oseleta, coming from the Campo Buri cru, surprises for its freshness and elegance. This 2009 could possibly age for 10 more years: it has proper body and acidity to evolve. Awesome wine.

Medium ruby color.
Aromas of tomato leaf, stewed tomatoes, red fruit.
Dry. Flavors of red fruit, tomato leaf, black olive, clove, herbal. Very savory with a hint of fruit in the background. Tannins are moderate and smooth. Surprisingly lovely!

Nose of balsamic vinegar, plum, black cherry, beef terriaki, black pepper, and dried oregano. Maybe a touch of acetone from the VA as well.

Similar dark fruit notes as on the nose with sour cherry acidity and balsamic VA notes including the "throat burn". Dusty med+tannins with some black tea.

Old school, rustic Italian wine. I usually don't mind VA notes, but this is pushing it. However, it is complex and well balanced.
