Rías Baixas Albariño

A wine from Jorge Ordóñez and his winemaking team. Pale lemon with crisp stone fruit and citrus aromas. On the palate fresh apple, pear and melon flavors with lemon citrus, consistent offering from La Cana. Medium finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral tang. Grab some Sushi. Nice value.

This pale yellow wine smells strongly of flowers and citrus - it is a beautiful nose, really gorgeous. The palate is somewhat soft and has mineral notes along with Meyer lemon and tangerine. Acidity comes in at medium strength, just enough to tingle the tongue. The sip is wonderful, with great flavors and an easy drinking mouthfeel.

Quince, lime pith, mustard flowers. Very good.

Freshy.

Jorge Ordonez is consistent and fairly priced always. Ripe pear, peach, citrus, acid. Food friendly but fine on its own.

Full-bodied Albariño with plenty of citrus notes, served with grilled yellowfin tuna at Legal Seafood, Copley Place, Boston (also at Roche)

Would I buy again yes. Great for hanging!
