great color, great berry aroma, big and structured

We buy a case of this every year--some vintages it improves nicely over 3-5 years. Not the case with this 2012. Attractive faded hue. Nose still carries some herbal and strawberry notes. Palate is bright, then suddenly drops off into nothingness. A faded beauty at the ball, wearing a moth-eaten stole. Past its prime. 😕😬
