Beautifully made, textbook Chardonnay. Citrus and smoky floral notes. Perfect balance - steely precision but also generous. You would pick this as top 1er Cru Chablis or a lean Puligny. Very long lemon curd aftertaste. Up there with the original single vineyard offerings from Kumeu. Perhaps less individual but 50% less money and drinking superbly now. This will increase in price!!
