Great new world Pinot. Quick decant at the restaurant to give it some air and warm it up slightly and it was good to go. The nose was very aromatic with cranberry, cherries, earth and dried herbs. Palate was rich for a Pinot, with flavors of raspberry and plum. Strong acidity on the finish.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 12/16-17/21. This is a classic RRV PN. Cherry and cinnamon on the bouquet. Candied apples, cherry and a touch of oak on the palate. Medium bodied, fruit forward with a full mouth feel. Very good. Different but better than the 2014.

Dec 17th, 2021We had the 2014 Vintage on 12/11-12/2021 as part of a horizontal tasting. There were tastes of black cherry, blackberry, cola and minerality. This had a dustiness that the other three did not. More Burgundian? Maybe.

Big thumbs up. Tart cherries, macerated strawberries, but not overly sweet at all. Very well balanced with a really pleasant nose and finish.
