St. Emilion Grand Cru Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Sour. Was hoping for greatness since I usually love St Emilion, but Not delicious. No bueno.

I guess the 2022 vintage is acceptable. I knew when I opened this that it would not be ready.. I am getting hints of raspberries, milk chocolate, herbs, and limestone.
I have been replacing wine glasses from breakage over the years (yea, it's a collection thing with me). I have found amazing deals on some much older stems that have never been used (so much superior quality) on the secondary markets! I'm happy about that, not so much this wine! I think it has potential. My score reflects that.

Balanced, pretty #stemiliongrandcru #bordeaux blend. Not as earthy as other St. Em blends this one is a bit more fruit forward, once it opens up. Excellent QPR #costcowines

Purchased 2 bottles at Costco. The first one opened was just okay (8.2), but the second one was noteworthy. Since we all get a mediocre bottle at times, I’m going with the 8.6 rating. Worth a try.

Curiosity killed the cat. Playing with my new Costco membership. Of all the wines I've had from St. Emilion, this is one of them.
