One of my favorites. Perfect balance between Nahe mineralIty and NZ SB fruit and piss. Lime blossom, lemon zest, papaya and mango. So much slate and minerality. Deep and vivid nose. Awesome cut and energy. Superbly mineral on the palate and not fruity at all. Killer. Such zest and intensity. Layered palate, ripe and killer texture but also insane acids.

Dec 18th, 2019High toned nose. Grass, slate, gooseberry, but overall sense is intense Nahe minerality. Elegant and ripe with nice purity but acid maybe a skoche Low. Good fruit and mouthfeel.

And now for the wine review. These are day 2 notes. Nose is electric. You can smell the acids. Plus loads of cracked rock dust, lemon-lime pith, and gooseberry Sauvignon fruit. It’s like the love child of a killer biodynamic Sancerre and a great German Riesling. And more like the Riesling. On the palate, stunningly pure citrus fruit. Phenomenal acids make it mouthwateringly juicy. (Way better than day 1.). Even though it’s not the most complex wine, it is excellent.

I love this wine. It’s the perfect split of Nahe/Sauvignon Blanc it’s got the classic SB bullshit, but also has wonderful Nahe rocks, which make this such a great wine. Palate is so mineral and precise and only like 10% SB bullshit. This is a wine of terroir......and a little bullshit.

Mar 21st, 2018This is my favorite German Sauvignon Blanc. No doubt. Huge opulent nose of fresh cut grass, citrus, intense minerals, such a nice balance between Sauvignon and Nahe. Palate is just delicious. Truly like the best lime liquid sweet tart you've ever had. God this has improved since I had it last. 2015 is so amazing for that combo of ripeness and just stunning grippy and present acids. Stunning finish. This is so drinkable and delicious it is borderline illegal.

Wow. Tasty. Classic sb with a Nahe terroir kick. Nice and fruity but not obnoxious. Great acidity and minerality. Bought from Fass selections.
