Marbach Spätlese Riesling

This wine is so filigreed. Nose of peaches, smoke, slate, so mineral, floral, maybe white flowers, deep, perfumed and penetrating aromas. Gorgeous purity and freshness. Very clean. Elegant, filigreed, compact with terrific sweetness, peaches, apricots, and wonderful complexity. Stunning purity and freshness. Absurd value.

My parents are in town and they love a wee drop of Spatlese! This is a great one. Gorgeously pure nose. Ripe apple, a bit of crisp peach. Lots of pure stony minerality and even a sweet floral note. So balanced and pure and intense in the mouth. Mouthwatering!

What a nose. White berries and cherries. Even frosted pineapple and some guava. So mineral. Clean as a whistle. Wow. So elegant. Beautiful nose. Sweet and opulent but rapier like acidity and wonderful sweet stone fruits and lovely balance. Terrific.

Nose: elite peach flower. Exquisite.

Palate: why but lovely. Mountain stream infused with peaches. Elegnat.

A lovely Spatlese Riesling. Off dry, but with sweetness very balanced with the acidity. Flinty, mineral, floral and some tropical notes. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

Nose is elegant petrol. Mineral. A hint of nectarine. Really pretty.

Palate is white nectarine. But really more about the silky elegance. Just a perception about this. Almost classic mosellian wine but with elegant nahe tropicality.

Classic nahe tropical nose. Sweetness and fruit is a bit subdued at this point giving this a more spatlese feinherb kind of feel.
