Ken Wright Cellars
Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Meh, I’ve had many a single vineyard wine from Ken Wright and I’m afraid this felt like a mailed in effort. Dark purple color, underripe cherry, rhubarb & cranberry notes and not much else. Light on palate, kinda juicy but jammy & flabby - lacking any secondary flavors/aromas. Uneven finish.

Apr 13th, 2023Shared this at a hotel bar with a friend. Love the label with the birds. Too bad no cardinal on it. My friend has an affinity for that bird. Typical Williamette valley Pinot. We enjoyed it. Much better to drink this than the per glass offerings.

Jan 1st, 2023Nose - ocean air and subtle flowery perfume. Very clean mouthfeel. Tasting notes- Cranberry, cherry pits and tart plum. Structure - A bit of acid and some softer tannins that linger a little. Overall really nice! Went well with a chicken with currents dish
