Jun 16th, 2018Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruit, oak and spice on this KW entry level Pinot. On the palate flavors of strawberry, cranberry, red cherry and red plum with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and cedar. Gorgeous acidity with medium tannins, full-body with great mouthfeel. Medium finish, very good now.

Jul 8th, 2019Nose of red plum/skin and red cherries (definitely red fruit). Pallet has sharp acidity, tart plum skin, a touch chalky tannic structure. It’s definitely young and drinking that way, even with a decant. I’d give it another 2-3 years. EDIT: days 2 and 3 were much better. It opened up beautifully showing the real potential when the wines hits its stride. If you do open young, decants for a few hours or double decant the day prior.
