Medium Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of currants, pepper and cinnamon spice and earthy oak notes. Aged for 10 months on French oak, fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla oak character. Very nice.

Decent wine, needed some time to open up till it started to taste like Pinot noir..

Classic. You can genuinely never go wrong with Ken Wright. Plenty of nuance.

Cherries, blood orange and baking spice- very fruit forward. This particular bottle had fairly elevated volatile acidity and simple flavors.

Bright cherry fruit. Translucent, light red. Important backbone of earth, herbs, very slight tannin. Bouncy acidity and vinegar.

2014 vintage. Very nice entry level from ken Wright. Not as deep as the single vineyards but also not as much $$$

Elegant and refined. Black cherry, underbrush? Quixotic, fast-developing nose. Floral. Light cola, light tobacco. Exceptional balance.

Fantastic stuff, although he is pricy overall for the quality. Aside from that, it embodied the standard terrior of Oregon wine with a distant parallel to Burgundy. Soft elegant fruit, aromas of fresh grated nutmeg and underbrush, with a very present pepper/clove spice to the finish.
