Enjoyed with roast turkey then subsequently with sautéed pork tenderloin. Fruity enough for the turkey, enough body and acidity for the pork. Lovely nose ($30)

Big & forward, but well-made; not spoofy. Has a certain brashness. Well-integrated oak. Candied fruits, nougat, nice tannins & good acid, Not quite our style but well done.

The soil notes override fruit. Tastes like dirt. What can I say? But at least it isn’t factory made.

Back to Ken Wright. It’s been many years. Whoa. Seriously good. Love what the winery is doing today.

Ripeness of new world with driving acidity to still make it a food wine. Preferred Bryce Vineyard style a little more but from what I have tasted so far the structure of single vineyard KW pinots are really appealing. Complex but crowd pleasing

$50; well-made wine, but not nearly as refined and elegant as say, the Cuvée from Domaine Serene for the same price. Cherry and tobacco notes, well-balanced with the earthiness and dryness of the back end, but not particularly memorable.
