Fairly rich in body, spicy, fading ripe fruit on the palate, sweet fruit sensation on finish

Monthly WTF wine group meet up.

Stemmy/green, rhubarb tart and 100% delicious! Great aromatics. Spicy plum and herbal notes. Awesome acidity and finish on this wine, showing some orange peel & fleshy red fruit skin. Love when

A bewitching bouquet pairs with an immensely enjoyable palate on this one. First time trying some Swan stuff and it does not disappoint. One of the original Pinot producers in California, especially in the RRV where Zin was king at the time. Unfined and unfiltered, the color is gorgeous see-through ruby with some cloudiness. The nose has some dusty funk on the outset, but then settles into lovely tart cherry notes and exotic floral aromatics. The palate is so soft and textured, light and airy. Beautiful fruit, slight stem inclusion, with some soft spice on the backend. This is about as pure as they come and again, enjoyable beyond measure. What a price point, too!

Super high-toned with bright plum, cranberry, bay leaf and baking spice aromas. Plush, ripe texture. Rich cranberry/plum flavors push through lush long finish. Pale color but robust flavor and texture!
