Aged 10 months in 25% new French oak. Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits, spice and smoky cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe crushed red cherries, with notes of cedar and spice, lively acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes, more Burgundian in style vs. CA. Nice now, still has some aging room.

Feb 19th, 2021Fruit-forward Pinot with an excellent nose, but finish is too harsh. Perhaps this will be better in 5 years. Surprisingly, letting it breathe made it even harsher, and the fruit was lost.

Aug 3rd, 2019First taste of this old school RRV producer. Classic red and blue fruit high acidity with big intense California sweetness, super intense and tasty. Felt pretty big after a couple of Burgundies though
