Final vintage of this wine before the 100 year old Carignan vines were ripped out. Light and elegant with crunchy red fruit and refreshing acidity, 12.5% alc. Still youthful with years of further development ahead. I doubt that whatever replaced these vines can step to this.

Very interesting old vine carignan from Olivet lane in the Russian river. Literally smells like cocaine. Fresh cranberry, bumble gum (almost cru Beaujolais) stays very light on its feet. So drinkable and really unique

2012 Vintage. Definitely worthy of a fist bump. But if I'm not mistaken, this will be the last vintage of this wine because the 100yr old Carignane vines it was sourced from was replanted. Drink up because nothing is forever.
