Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Got another ‘08 to try. Dark red color, black fruit aromas, notes of sweet savory spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors emerge, not as jammy as previous tasting showed, with oak, leather and some cacao. Good balance and integration of Tannins and acidity. This full body wine finished very smooth. Drink up, it's a gem.

Drinking fine wine with the Love of my Life is always Grand!

Despite the fiasco with the crumbly cork, really enjoyed this wine. Lots of dark fruit, black licorice, and pepper.

Everything that I wanted the 05 and 07 to be. Definitely New World on the nose , but had an unquantifiable dankness to it that is divine.

Delicious. Balanced mouth feel with a long smooth finish. This is why Napa cabs are famous. With 10 yrs I’d guess we are in the peak window.
