Alsace Riesling

See my last note except substitute Pinot Gris for SB - this is such an anomaly

Riesling wine dinner at Moriarty’s. Really nice dry Riesling with an heirloom tomato salad with Bibb lettuce and grilled onions.

Mediocre German wine. We were told it’s a dry Reisling, but it was sweeter than we expected.

Smells like a German wine... a little petrol and flintiness, mild citrus and tree fruit, and a light body with good acid. Alsatian Adventure private tasting.

Hint of petrol, stone fruits, high acid, delicious with fish

Hell I thought this was a Pinot Gris the whole time! Worked w/Jambalaya but this is entry level & marginal

Apples, dry, smooth, slight petrol, stone finish.

Pale, pale gold. Smells of desert sand and rain with the slightest hint of honey. Very balanced, very fresh on the pallet. Nothing is overstated, except for the slightly lingering minerality that is marginally overtaken by the acidity.

Definition of Value. Could use a bit more Meyer lemon and acid.
