Garnet red. Nose started out with some woody notes, mulberries and soft dark fruits like plums. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and good acidity. Solid red fruits and some twigs on the palate. Medium bodied and moderate finish. There is something a little off-putting in the finish, a little metallic. Drink now.

Nearly black in the glass with a lot of cherry, black pepper, hints if vanilla and red fruit preserves. Still very drinkable!

Picked up a few bottles while visiting Jardin Farm in South Africa. Splendid facility with great wines. This blend is deep and dark. Fruits are bold and slightly dry in finish. Should cellar for many more years!

Had in celebration of josh getting related job in Baltimore based on his experience in Cape Town. This was our second stop and lunch on our winery weekend travels. So good then and even better tonight with buffalo steaks for the celebration dinner.

Strong nose of pepper, earth, and plum that mellows over time. Mellow body for such a powerful nose. Plum and pepper, long-ish finish
