Joie Farm
A Noble Blend Okanagan Valley White Blend
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada

Delicious blend from BC. More accessible than its Alsatian relatives in its youth. Ginger spice and topical fruit on the nose, med body with white pepper on the finish.

Sep 30th, 2014Inspired by Alsace, but unmistakably Okanagan. Only here would this blend be made. Balanced, lush, with a welcome bite of acidity. Joie = happy.

Time to go for the Jeroboam. Can there ever be enough Joie at a wedding shower?

Takeout sushi from Minami in Yaletown, so grabbed this at a little wine shop next door. Okanagan white blend that leans towards Riesling. Medium dry, decent acid, lychee-citrus/apple. Gets the job done although sweeter than I prefer. $15 bottle sold for $35. Average wine is expensive in Vancouver.
