Drinking much younger than expected. Still plenty of fruit and drinking at peak. Should go another 20, no problem!

Well aged but still had lots of life ahead. Lovely 18year old cab franc. Everything you would expect

Classic and perfect for leftovers. Juicy wild berries, pencil shavings, graphite, potting soil, peppercorns, tobacco leaf. Sleek tannins, bright acid, super affordable 👍

A black tea and black olive experience- so very good and well integrated. I was so curious to try this 1991 since frost was disastrous all over France this year. At 26, this wine has not become complex, yet it was so moreish and easy to drink!

Others enjoyed this more than I. Well made and classic herbaceousness.

Smoky and minerally on the nose, this wine is just opening up an hour and half after uncorking. Great with herb-roasted chicken and fresh greens from the garden.

Old cab franc. In great shape. Some real life to this wine. Delicate nose, and that green cab franc flavor but all well knit together. Yum.

This is showing quite well with my homemade chicken pot pie! This hot vintage Cabernet Franc has shows both blue fruit and a certain herbal spice. This is not long or noble wine, but it sure does taste good on Thursday night! Thanks @Scott Torrence for the inspiration!

It started off as a pity party- Loire & meat pie on steak & claret night with Cinnamon gone in the city tonight... But this Taluau has stopped my pining. I still wish my lovely wife was here for dinner, but this ripe vintage Loire fills a void left by the extinction of traditional right bank Bordeaux. Hopefully this does not come at the expense of the legitimate Bourgueil style. I am a happy man with this seamless, blue fruited wine- tannins resolved, hints of black olive and soul intact. No obvious wood. Thank you Taluau!
