Nose: Cherry with a hint of baking spices
Body Light body- (CS on training wheels)
Palate: Acidity forward (which could be part of the BC flavor) hints of dark fruit, like plum and blackcurrant Would pair well with: Meatball w/red sauce. Prosciutto and mozzarella cheese. Potato Skins w/bacon, and bacon wrapped scallops

Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits and herb spice, aged in oak for 18 months. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with tobacco, licorice, and herb black pepper spice. Drying fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with spicy oak, fruit and sweet notes.

I think this is supposed to be a medium body cab, but perhaps due to its aging it’s quite big. Enjoyed it with both a filet mignon and pesto chicken

Wet earth, wood. Dark berries, vanilla ice cream. Some sweet spices. Med-high tannins/acidity.

Surprisingly enjoyable Cab - it's Christmas Eve and was given as a gift...berries, a bit sweeter than normal for a Cab, but very mellow and drinkable...

Nose of salty bacon, powerful alcohol, with a slight hint of chocolate. Taste of sour cherries, cranberries, spicy, woody, with a hint of sweetness. Low tannins makes it easy to drink. Sweetness in the aftertaste, but not too much complexity.

I had the 2013 before, and thought it was good value. I enjoyed this one too, and it's still a good value, fruit is cherry and black cherry, with vanilla and wood, some earth, and a hint of cola. Acidity is moderate, and tannins are low to moderate. Good table wine.
