El Corralón Vino de Paraje Grenache Syrah

Good quality wine, inviting and appealing, good balance, though somewhat fierce alcohol. A two dimensional complexity with a ripe, juicy strawberry foreground in front of a floral, spicy (and a hint of savoury) background. Very ripe, yet with a good presence and density. Somewhat simple and dilute finish, but overall a food performance considering the price.

not a big deal. i like the color deep and velvet purple. nose is oaky with red fruit. oak continues in mouth, together with leather and sour cherry.

Big and full bodied. Juicy plums. Long finish with tannins coming in at end. Almost a bit of a floral/herbal quality on the nose. Super good for the price.

Cherries and plums, some herbs, medium acidity and long finish

Starts soft. Maybe cram & apple — but I could be off . Subtle. Balanced. Then the tannins hit. Not huge, but pronounced and lingering. A little sweet. Highly enjoyable. Starts like Barolo. Ends like Cab. Uncorked September wine of the month.

Had hi hopes but was unbalanced & way too rustic for me. I’m going to chalk it up to storage and withhold a rating
