Very ripe on the nose, a bit caramel. Lots of game, leather and spices. Drink now, won’t get any better in my opinion.

This is close to perfection
Fairly big body not huge, but driven by an agility, suppleness, drinkability tremendously out of the ordinary
I have had other vintages and I must admit 2012 is arguably the best or close second to the 98.
Statement :I love Clare Valley shiraz, it is surely the most Rhone like 100% shiraz, for the big bold body u need to add malbec or mataro. Almost flawless

1990 must have been an amazing vintage in SA because everything I drink from this vintage is super tasty and in balance almost 30 years later

20 years in, this is sheer brilliance. Still possesses an excellent fruit profile. Herbs and tobacco are beginning to emerge. Lovely structure on the palette. This example will sail on for years to come.
