Spätburgunder Rouge
High on quaffablity, low on complexity but in the subtle, fleeting flavors was a nice introduction to the terroir of a Rheingau rouge.

Oct 30th, 2015Quite lean and herby, with tea like tannins, spritzty acidity and a bit of bacon / roast fattiness. Nice mouthfeel, good bright cherry fruit, yet feels slightly disjointed and lacks elegance. Good with food, though.

Apr 21st, 2017Huge quality-for-price here. Pure, intense, and juicy dark cherries, cinnamon-y spice, and just a wisp of evergreen and some flowers when I look for them. Under $20 pinot that will please crowds and critics alike: ✔️. Plus this was still delicious the 2nd day.
