Trying to slowly introduce myself to red Burgundy.....without sacrificing the kids' college fund. This wine was ok. Little tobacco on the nose. Very smooth and easy to drink.

2012 vintage: pleasing light to med wt col, bright. Not forced which is to be encouraged. Mixed red fruit aromas w a hint of cut. Satisfying attack, the slippery simple medium bodied flavours finish reasonably long. Benchmark Bourgogne rouge.

2019 lots of spice on the end, paired well with the curry. Smells of sweet cherry, went down easy, in fact it disappeared.
