Lemon, citrus, oil, white floral.

Founded in 1853, Gilbert Perrier and his son are the fifth and sixth generation to make wine in picturesque Alpine region. Stainless steel fermentation and aging. Light wine with savory crisp edges. 100% Jacquere, an alternative to Chards, with flavors of pear, apple and citrus, medium finish ending with mineral notes. Tasting Sample.

$13 frontline? Oily. White pepper. Wonderful and super value to boot.

Straightforward white wine with pear atoms, clean white-wine flavor. At $14, a decent, fun white wine. Good with pizza or cheese, since the flavor is so light and unobtrusive.
