Underwhelming for a chinon - an exceptional amount of green pepper on the tongue that just sucks the life out of any fruit notes hanging out.

Food wine for me. Can't honestly say there was anything special about this one. Lighter body with a very short finish. Tannins left on the tongue. Drinkable but not sure I would purchase again.

I like the ripe green bell pepper and candied blackberry. Clean and quintessential cab franc.

Deep burgundy and purple color. Red fruit and vegetal nose. On the palate, all Cab Franc. An initial brief taste of raspberry, then dominated with a big bowl of green veggies. Drying finish and then the veggies linger on. Had the Rose earlier in the summer; would have been interesting to do a side by side. Enjoy this year in and year out as a good reminder of Chinon Cab Franc. As a vegetarian, how could you not like this.
