A faultless bottle albeit a bit too cold. Lemon zest, beeswax. Once it warmed up it showed ripe grapefruit and a hint of pear. Very bright, lively and mineral - a lovely Folatiers from Chavy. In Hobart for Christmas Eve.

So classy. The lemon zest coupled with baking apple and minerality make for a sumptuous yet vibrant wine. Terrific.

When you’re in the smoke (London), white burgs are front and center. @David L, @Bill Bender, @Shay A, @Mike R, @Joe Lucca, @Carl Fischer, @Eric LaMasters, and @Shawn R would wet their pants over this. Killer expression of burg. Regal, pristine and focused. Extends and expands on the palate. Head-spinning presentation - Chelsea, London.

2007. Layered, expansive and full bodied - notes of lemon curd, yellow apple, almond croissant. Vibrant acidity keeps it fresh.

Bruised Apple, ripe pear, with a core of minerality. Really nice.

This is delicious, though from a riper vintage so a bit more round and luscious than normal. Crunchy minerality, soft oak notes and starting to develop the walnut/hazelnut and bruised apple and pear that time provides. Classy stuff, indeed.
