Very dark rubi robe, nose of asian spices, roses and violets. Medium bodied, rich but elegant, dark red fruits and the spiciness we got on the nose. Really excellent now but lots of potential. Great bottle.

66 JJ Confuron Nuits 1er Cru: v promising appearance of bright and medium depth w appropriate "redness" for age. Bouquet lifted and a touch zingy from the VA. Nonetheless cx small red berry fruit, sous bois combining attractively. Vg "bright" entry, the flavours echo the bouquet , med wt w the VA reminding us of its age. Lively farewell and still w Nuits tannins to close. This was still delicious though probably 5 yrs past it's best. This bottle was of superb appearance and level.
