Eponym' Morgon Gamay

I’m so in love with this wine!!!

Just a lovely wine for a killer price!

Another great one from Foillard, shocking no one. Sure it will evolve as it ages but I think it’s stellar right now.

I’m trying to just get through the last of my 15 Bojos. Such a clumsy, blocky vintage. This one is one of the better ones. Tangy, ripe nose also sports smoky crushed rock. Flavorful and full in the mouth. Decent acids keep it from being a hot mess. A little flat in the finish. Not elegant, but a very nice dinner accompaniment.

First time trying the eponym. Way more open in its youth even than the other foillard wines and that is saying a lot! Juice 🥤

Birthday dinner round 3: blackberry jamm forever, duck confit pot pie’s best friend

Incredibly enjoyable to drink. Just as balanced and fresh as the others in the lineup, this one is dominated by black cherry cola. There is a very appealing profile of sugary soda on the nose combined with smooth dark fruit. It’s what you want out of a great burgundy, but in Morgon clothing. Great showing!
