Delicious.

This is better than some premier cru red burgundies for far less $.

Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruit and earthy floral notes, matured in used barrels. On the palate flavors of red plum, cherry, banana and earthy herbs. Vivid acidity, fine dusty tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral and earthy mineral. Very good, a few more years of bottle age will benefit!

So delicious young. But so epic and elusive with bottle age.

Structured, mouth-filling, and quite sweet fruited. Prefer the Eponym at this stage, but just ever so slightly.
