Ruby red with some garnet edges. Started off with a classic 2011 nose, not overwhelming but some light greenery and slightly savory notes. About 30 to 45 minutes in it opened up with a hint of blueberries and other darker fruits. Same with the palate. Started off with some light greenery and vegetal notes then moved to red fruits and cherries and finished with some dark berries. Moderate tannins (6.5/10), full bodied and great acidity to match. Long and lingering finish. Definitely seems like a lot of other 2011 wines, or at least ones made properly and built to age. Drink till 2026.

This is open for business - tannins are still evident but have nicely integrated. No noticeable decline - still young and vibrant. drink or hold.

12' Jean Edwards Cabernet . No rough edges. Big fruit, short decanting, drinking window is now. Crowd pleaser. I would absolutely purchase this again for a large party.

Second time trying the 2011 Stagecoach Cabernet. Deep garnet red with bricking on the edges. A touch floral on the nose with dark berries and bell peppers. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Good fruit on the palate with dusty tannins and solid greenery. Long finish. Drink till 2022.

Second red wine sampled at the Jean Edwards Cellars tasting room in downtown Napa. Deep and dark ruby red. Nose has some raspberries, dark cocoa, creme de cassis and some leather. Slight furriness with moderate acidity (6.5/10) and backed with good acidity. Dark cocoa, cassis and black cherries in the moderate plus body. Long finish with some earthy notes. Definitely a lot better on PNP. Drink till 2026. 90+. Blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. 21 months in 60% new French oak and 110 cases produced.

Had one other opportunity to taste this wine not long ago and it did not disappoint again! Amazing aromas noted even while pouring from the decanter! Lush rich blackberry pie flavors, dark chocolate and was a perfect pairing for a birthday celebration!

Too soon needs at least another year but lots of potential to go up at least a point or two.

Been about two years since we opened one of these and worth the wait. Decanted 60 minutes. Still young and fresh with no noticeable bricking. Dark black briary fruit, medium weight. Dark berries, tobacco and some hints of leather in the nose. No rush to drink. Drink or hold.

WOW - a big and muscular wine that is screaming - please pair me with a dry aged ribeye! Needs time but what a future! ❤️ Delectable indicates wine is sold out but 2013 vintage was just released.
