Going on 5 yrs, thought I’d give this unusual Cru Bojo from Brouilly a try. It’s singularity is first hinted at with a 14.5% abv; it also needs air & time to really come together; finally, it has some serious tannins. Like arid desert dry tannins, or something that one would get in only a Southern French red— like Madiran ( Tannat) or Cot (Malbec). At end of day, needed a good decant or another 3/4 yrs.

Sep 22nd, 20212015. No flaws whatsoever, just really clipped on finish. Nonetheless, tons of 2015 fruit and definitely gulpable. Expect more for this price however.

Simply awesome. One of the great successes of the vintage. Soaring nose of smoke, leather, licorice, anise, mint, blackberry, black cherry liquer and more. Just awesome. So intense yet fresh. Big, viscous and dense in the mouth with unreal density and concentration. Spice, terrific cleansing acids and such great structure. Long, nimble and juicy. Black fruits all the way. Amazingly rich yet so fresh. This is indeed very special.

Toujours aussi bien, la cuvée des fous. Un brouilly puissant, inhabituel, pas dans l’air du temps, qui dirai Gamay? Grosse Concentration, full body, belle structure, old vines... but yum!!!

I loved this - natural wine, £22 a bottle, nice minerality combined with a bit of fruit. I would buy it again. Had it with Sous vide chicken and over roasted potatoes and it was great!

Honestly dude those people are masochists! You were made to be the sweetest host, the one who never judges, the perpetual smile. I think it’s quite possible your mood ring is always glowing red or glowing whatever colour means pleasant. Don’t let this cruel world turn you cold. Mon amis you are a special breed.
