Drop dead nose. Just sick. Amazing chocolate covered cherries, huge minerals, massive florals, heavenly nose. Layered and so so fine. Just stunningly pure. Decadent yet ephemeral. Palate has no hard edges. So juicy, elegant and pure with just awesome fruit. Balanced and so fresh. Energetic and has that same decadent yet ethereal fruit on the palate. What an amazing wine. It’s got tangy fruit and a lot of it. Concentrated and so lithe. Such flavor intensity. All red cherries and sweet strawberry.

Jul 9th, 2020Glorious bottle. Nose has a tiny bit of funk but glorious cherry fruit, soil tones, mineral, minty, menthol, gloriously fresh, deep, silky, velvety, crushing acidity but gentle as well. Savory, umami on the finish. Finishes so mineral. Tasting granite.

What an amazing wine. Super nose that jumps out at ya. Big cherry. Big big fucking cherry. Spices, plum, semi sweet cocoa, such aromas. Totally spellbinding. Also a sense of gamey, meaty and smokey aromas add complexity. Awesome. Palate is vibrant, deep and so juicy, with amazing fruit and terrific acid and structure. What concentration! This has tannins that are soft but ever present, but so velvety. So pure and dazzlingly fresh. Really long finish that takes over the palate. The purity of this is incredible. What a mouthfeel as well. 100% Gamay in Amphorae.

Absurd. Starting to drink obscenely well but stuffing and structure to go for at least 10 years if not much longer. Nose is chocolate-y, cherry, rose petal crazy. Lifted powerful palate with enormous density and length.
