Apr 12th, 2014Medium ruby in color; cherry jolly ranchers, violets, and something fruity or floral I can't quite place; high acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like pomegranates, bananas, and clay pots with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it, but think she's just not a fan of gamay. I like it and so does Bri. Bri says it smells like Swedish Fish.

A delicious Beaujolais. Nice, bright red fruit with more complexity than expected. An easy picnic, or early evening on the patio wine. One bottle per person.
