Jacquesson & Fils
Cuvée No. 738 Extra Brut Champagne Blend

Back in 2013, we opened a bottle of 736 in celebration of our nephew William’s birth. Our latest nephew, Asa, is now here! The 738 is still drinking very young. Apples, lemon curd, white peach and a hint of brioche. A Champagne that’s bursting with energy; acid and minerals for days. My last of six and a fantastic glass of bubbles to toast the arrival of our new member to the family 😊. Disgorged June 2015; Dosage 2.5g/l

Energetic, bright, but with a wonderful soft nutty texture to balance the mineral acidity. I'm a sucker for this kind of impressive precision. Skills.

It was very fine, vibrant but not sharp acidity (drink NOT out of a flute, take white wine glass). Notes of sesame, apricot, grapefruit, rock salt, nori leaves and croissant
