Barnyard and leather too prominent and the faint hint of fruit wasn’t helping. The balance might have been there several years ago but this just wasn’t enjoyable.

If Foillard made Bordeaux. Needs 15 minutes for the funk to blow off. Then some cassis, leather and tobacco. But boy that funk is present. But it goes away! Don’t be afraid! Palate is juicy, oh man so juicy, like almost its juice. Fresh and fresh and then fresh some more. Interesting but last bottle showed better. Seems a bit all over the place.

Organic in the vineyard. No SO2 in the winery. Tastes like Bordeaux! But it's... alive!!!

Opened June 2020. Paired with handmade pasta and tomato sauce with chilies. Also great with some tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil as well. Needed some time to open up
