Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and sweet nutty notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and pear with citrus, vanilla and toasty oak, slight creamy texture. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, nuts, toasty oak and savory lemon character. Nice!

Great body and acidity. Love the buttery yet bright balance.

Revised note, was initially too cold. As it warmed up improved. Bright, sharp at first, and decent stony minerality at the end. Hollow in the centre palate. Subtle oak when it was cold , though more prominent closer to room temp. Definite salt. It’s not bad at all, better than the ordinary Californian oak bombs. Reasonably austere. But not particularly complex and the vineyard rating their own wines 9.7 or 10 on Delectable is a joke. This is not in the same class as a good Bourgogne 1er Cru.

Too buttery and sweet for me, ultimately. Very bright crisp nose, citrus, and pale yellow clarity. Subtle toffee, dairy/butter, and burnt sugar but with a drier finish than expected.
