Light bodied, yet rich in color, a very purple-magenta, I didn't think this wine, made from Valdiguié grapes, was like Gamay at all, as said the bottle. I would call this is an easy, patio-sipping red, dominated by floral and berry aromatics, juicy flavors of blackberry, blueberry, cranberry sauce, and pomegranate, and mild tannins and acidity. This wine would also work as a base for a dessert sauce or paired with Thanksgiving dinner.

Interesting but probably better for summer days than winter nights. Very light.

Dark garnet color pomegranate and bing cherry body with a hint of wet moss. Very smooth on the pallet with little mixed berry flavor slightly dry finish not a robust wine

A chilled red wine with a lovely floral nose, cherry in the mouth, and nice finish. A good summer sipping red.

I'm always a little skeptical of Beaujolais style wines, but this was pretty good for the type. Drink it slightly chilled. It is light but not overly fruity with heavier tannin than I expected. Nice if not long finish. It reminds me of Pinots you get in the Alsace region, which are also served chilled.

Nothing noteworthy in taste. Uncomfortably gummy towards the end of the second glass. There will not be a third.

Disappointing. Fruity and easygoing, but basically like having all the worst bits of Gamay and none of the good stuff.
