Very light in color. Thought I was pouring sherry! Decanted as it was tight and shy upon opening. Acid was palpable and elevated consumption. A tasty Barolo but not a big boy Barolo. — 7 years ago
Very light in color. Reminiscent of a wine 10 years older. Was dry in the mouth with respectable Italian acid. I personally could have used a little more fruit. — 8 years ago
Nice clear color. Almost brown. Enjoyable flavor but lacks the deep flavor that makes Barolo, Barolo.

Consumed Thanksgiving 2017. On the down slope. Taste is muted and lacks vibrancy. A little thick. — 7 years ago
The Goose is loose! Strong fruit notes. — 7 years ago
Deep fruit flavors. Not a beginners pinot. Tasted against the Confluence Vineyard. This was darker and deeper flavor and fruit. Started off gummy and mellowed out after 3 hours on nondecanted air. 14.5% alcohol - no joke. Bought this wine to drink with my wife as a way of saying "I'm sorry for being gone all weekend and thank you for watching the kids..." — 8 years ago
2014. Bit gummy. Tastes more like cab. — 7 years ago
Drinking this made me realize that I've lost my taste for champagne. Hard to differentiate against the typical day to day champagne. Had J Lasalle before and it was delicate and ephemeral. This one seems dense and dumb. Need to try again after I've recently consumed numerous other nice champagnes. — 7 years ago
Nice. Exhibits all of the expected characteristics of a Chateauneuf de Pape just not as intense. A good wine for $20.

Enjoyable. Not too much apple flavor.
Would drink again. — 7 years ago
