Very light in color. Thought I was pouring sherry! Decanted as it was tight and shy upon opening. Acid was palpable and elevated consumption. A tasty Barolo but not a big boy Barolo. — 8 years ago

Deep fruit flavors. Not a beginners pinot. Tasted against the Confluence Vineyard. This was darker and deeper flavor and fruit. Started off gummy and mellowed out after 3 hours on nondecanted air. 14.5% alcohol - no joke. Bought this wine to drink with my wife as a way of saying "I'm sorry for being gone all weekend and thank you for watching the kids..." — 8 years ago

Drinking this made me realize that I've lost my taste for champagne. Hard to differentiate against the typical day to day champagne. Had J Lasalle before and it was delicate and ephemeral. This one seems dense and dumb. Need to try again after I've recently consumed numerous other nice champagnes. — 8 years ago
