J. Lohr
Riverstone Arroyo Seco Chardonnay
Nicely balanced entry-level Chard. Ripe apple, white peach, lemon, pineapple . Just a touch of butter and vanilla— neither is heavy handed— but lots ripe, round bright fruit.

Dec 2nd, 2021Smooth, buttery finish and decent balance of fruit. I wouldn't use it as a sipping wine, but it pairs very well with salmon.

Jul 27th, 2021When well-chilled, notes are of peach with a slightly smoky oak finish. As it warms, more tropical fruit appears, a little pineapple comes in and the peach morphs into more of a mango vibe. Probably much better paired with something grilled.

Mar 9th, 2021Standard Cali Chardonnay. But it’s good! Golden apple, pear, and vanilla on the nose. Plenty of oak here, detecting more hazelnut, lemon, and apricot on the palate. Good consistent juice, buttery and creamy.
