Purple, lightly to moderately extracted pigment. Raspberry, blueberry and red fruit leather aromas with hints of funk and butter. Earthy notes emerge after ten minutes. Raspberry flavor with a hint of cherry, tart, citric-orange peel finish with lingering berry flavor. Arguably some minerals in the aftertaste. Minimal tannins on initial pour. Cries out for food, a rich buttery cheese like Muenster or Gouda...

Nice crystalline cherries, considerable minerality, orange peel. Sophisticated and nicely made in a midweight style.

Owned by Loosen Bros of Germany. Big vineyard focus, as it should be.

Fairly tightly wound at this point, but the potential is excellent. Very elegant wine with textbook Dundee Hills aromatics and minerality but on the lower ph side with firm structure.

What a joy this little number is. Leaning more towards something from Burgundy, the unfiltered “Volcanique” from J. Christopher wine’s is a beautifully weighted, broad effort that’s still light on its feet. Luscious soft body rounds to a succulent finish. Yumville.
