Alte Reben Wallufer Walkenberg Spätlese trocken Riesling

En-magnum and opened for my baby boy’s first birthday, this Becker was a hit with the crowd. I thought it could have been better though. Frankly, this had a little more petrol note than I’d like, but it still showed excellent energy. Earthy, salty, powerful, and laser-sharp. Hope to try a better sample down the line.

Brand new inner tube in the nose...fruit almost gone....jumpy acidity. Ok but nothing great

Dried apricots, baked apple and a hint of honey. Despite his age this boy shows a lively acidity, medium body & nice tension on the finish. Really lovely overall.

Earthy, tea-like aromas, so much depth, burnt citrus rind. Super secondary palate. Pithy, pitty, lovely.

Pristine, tight; still young.

Fresh and light, would love to revisit in a while great age worthy producer
