Lemon color with aromas of ripe tropical fruits with sweet floral notes. On the palate flavors peach and pear, lush and sweet, with good acidity balance. Medium finish ending with sweet ripe fruit character, classic late harvest.

2019 vintage. Great Riesling. Peach, nectarine, blood orange, lemon peel, white flowers, mango, rocks. Good length, sweetness is there, but all in balance. Yummy stuff for the big week ahead!

Resolved into dryish, subtle spiciness with overtones of membrillo and kumquats. The greatness of Nierstein didn’t come through until the second day open...which is pretty darn impressive for a 20 year-old Spätlese.

Rubber, white peach, slate, citrus pith / rich texture with some nice weight on the palate - apple - late palate acid

A suggestion of herbal and floral extracts is nicely backed by sweetness as it comes to the palate, at the same time shows refreshing cut with fresh lime. Hints of wild fennel and nettle add piquancy and prickle to an impressive and invigorating, slightly sweet-sour finish. (DS)

Spot on. Such an under rated producer. It's all about the red slate.

On its last legs, but definitely still all there.

This is a little disjointed, not quite sweet enough, a little unbalanced, good but not really fine.
