Interesting expression of Sangiovese. High altitude vineyard in Radda. 13.5% abv. Harmonious seamless cherry fruit. Not that tart. Not showing the typical Sangiovese bite on the finish. A polished, refined Chianti Classico. Delicious if somewhat atypical.

Further west in Radda, a touch of the brightness of the Casanova but ultimately not as unique for me. Still very good.

Very nice Chianti Classico from Radda. Really liking radda wines - and excited to hopefully visit while in Tuscany in June! Quite pure and refined with good restraint and acid. Excellent value at <$25.

Complex mushroomy reduction blew off quickly, revealing dried cranberry, 5 spice and leather. Angular and brightly fruity on the palate.

My favorite of their single vineyard offerings. Earthy, menthol. Palate is full of strong tannins at the front of the mouth yet smooths out to make room for food pairing.
